My name is Casey Allum, I’m a full time, professional portrait artist and illustrator based in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in Scotland, specialising in animal and human portraiture.
I draw in pencils, inks, pastels and coloured pencils; paint in oils, acrylics and inks.
I was born in the Langdale Valley, Cumbria in 1985.
My love of art was apparent right from the start, I was guaranteed to sit quietly when given a pencil and a piece of paper. I was always drawing!
When I finished my A-levels I moved away from Cumbria and after a few years of exploring the UK, working within prestige sales and management, I found myself drawn back into the heart of South Cumbria where I was a manager for an Antique, Reclamation Centre and Art Gallery.
Five years quickly passed and it was then I decided to take a leap and become a full time artist.
I’ve now been self employed for three years and have moved away from The Lakes to be with my partner, building our little family in The Peak District.
I now have a full range of art cards and limited edition (1/60) giclee prints which are all beautifully produced to the highest standard possible, all framed in matching solid oak frames with double white mounts.

I work from my lovely home studio producing Commissions for my ever growing customer base and working with companies and writers to produce beautiful Illustrations for books, products and advertising.
