I was honoured to be approached by Jamie Barnes curator (Printmaker) of the Kendal Museum’s 150th Beatrix Potter Anniversary Exhibition, to put together and create some original pencil drawings to hang alongside a selective group of ‘Lakes’ artists to celebrate the incredible life of Beatrix Potter.
The exhibition was not only to show some of Beatrix’s own original works but to take a glimpse into the legacy she’s left behind her; ‘Lakes’ artists that have been inspired by her books, drawings, papers and land care and management.
Alongside the my original drawings of ‘For A Moment’ and ‘Lead The Way’ I drew my two newest pieces specifically for the exhibition, ‘Tall Tale’ a cheeky large standing rabbit and ‘Sentinel’ a beautiful, cunning barn owl.
These pieces have now been transformed into 1/150 limited edition prints (my largest print runs to date) and are now available to order directly from myself on my Etsy Shop or to buy through one of my Stockists.
